Andrew joined Liberty in 2007 after 4 years with the National Atlantic Companies and The Proformance Insurance Company based in Freehold, NJ. He has since learned how to incorporate the knowledge and experience from working in his capacity at the carrier level as both an Underwriter and a Claims Examiner, and brought it into the agency. This contributes to Liberty’s superior ability to understand underwriting factors in great depth, bringing immense value to our clients in our advocacy and risk management process.
In keeping with Liberty’s standard for higher education, and commitment to excellence, Andrew has obtained the designations of “Certified Insurance Counselor” (CIC), and “Accredited Advisor in Insurance” (AAI), by The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research, and the Insurance Institute of America, respectively. These designations reflect hundreds of hours of study, and comprehensive understanding of core insurance concepts that are tested via rigorous written examination. He graduated from the Liberty Mutual Agency Markets Commercial Producer Program in 2009.
Andrew looks to follow in the footsteps of his Father, Andy Harris Sr., to become one of the leaders in the industry. He is an active member in the New Jersey Young Insurance Professionals, a branch of the Professional Insurance Agents (PIA) of NJ, as well as the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of NJ (The Big “I”), and their Young Agents Counsel.
Also active in both the Eastern Monmouth and Greater Monmouth Chambers of Commerce, as well as a member of the Freehold Le Tip Chapter (recently recognized as the largest in the country), he continues to grow in the business community, helping business owners and individuals manage their risk, and insure their assets and future.
